my favourite bollywood films

I can categorize bollywood movies in four main categories as old classics, amitabh movies, govinda movies and new movies

(1) old classics
I loved many old classics but I can try to pick as per bellow
--- anand, gol maal, choti si baat, rajnigandha, baton baton main, chupke chupke, angoor, sholay, avtaar

(2) amitabh movies
I watched and enjoyed many movies of amitabh in my childhood but my favourites are
--- zanjeer, deewaar, shakti, satte pe satta, dostana, trishul, sharaabi, akhree raasta, hum, agneepath, main azaad hoon, indrajeet and akayla

(3) govinda movies
Though I enjoyed most of the movies of govinda having good entertainment and fun but actually I enjoyed him even more in different genre than comedy like
--- swarg, zulm ki hukumat, aag, dulaara, khuddar, dulhe raja, naseeb, shikaari, kyon ki main jhuth nahin bolta, jis des main ganga rehta hai, life partner etc

(4) new movies/other movies
I liked message oriented new movies such as
--- lamhen, jo jeeta wohi sikandar, damini, mann, dil chahta hai, lakshya, swades, lage raho munnabhai, vivaah, chak de india, tare zameen par, billu, 3 idiots etc

बिल्लू बनाम स्लुम्दोग

बिल्लू से मिला दोस्ती का राज़ पर स्लुम्दोग से नहीं मिला ग़रीबी का इलाज़.

बिल्लू चित्रपट मैं दिखाया गया है की कैसे एक आदमी गरीब हालत के होते हुए भी एक अच्छा नागरिक और एक अच्छा दोस्त बन सकता है और दूसरी और कोई आदमी चाहे कितनी ही प्रतिष्ठा पा ले और कितना भी आगे बढ़ जाये फिर भी अपने मूल और वास्तविकता को न भूलते हुए एक अच्छा दोस्त बन सकता है. ****

स्लुम्दोग चित्रपट ने आखिर मैं ओस्कर भी पा लिया और उसके बाद उसको देखने से मैं अपने आप को नहीं रोक पाया लेकिन मुझे इतनी पसंद नहीं आई क्यों की अब तक की उसकी सफलता से मेरे मन में उसके प्रति काफी सारी अपेक्षाएं थी लेकिन अफ़सोस फिल्म मेरी सोच से बहुत जुदा निकली. उसमें इतने अच्छे से नहीं दिखाया गया है की झोपड़पट्टी मैं रहने वाला एक लड़का कैसे इतने सारे जवाब जानता है. हकीकत मैं लड़के के जीवन मैं बनी घटनाओ से वो सारे जवाब जानता है ऐसा दिखाया गया है उसके बदले महेनत करके और कुछ प्रेरणा पा के वो वहां तक पंहुचा एसा दिखाना चाहिए था. हालाकि गरीब और उसकी समस्याओ को थोडा दिखाया गया है लेकिन एक अच्छे दृष्टिकोण का आभाव जुरुर लगता है. संगीत ने रहमान को ओस्कर दिलाया लेकिन गाने पृष्टभूमि मैं है और प्रमुख गाना भी आखिर मैं आता है. **१/२

My Review --: Slumdog Millionaire

Fall Short of my expectation**1/2

I believe that the movie is not up to the mark as per what it has been achieved so far. Actually I went to see it after it's triumph to get an Oscar and my expectation was high but unfortunately it fall short of it and I was yearning for more until the end.

The problem in the movie is that it is not showing proper inspirational way of person's success and achievement instead it has shown the achievement of a person by circumstances, chance and luck. Actually They should have shown a person doing hard work to step further and make progress in life to become knowledgeable person and that way to know all answer and getting money and fame. Though they have shown poverty and life of people living in slums but it is lacking an attitude of showing it with positive aspects and good light. I also found the movie is bit dark. Songs are also in background and main song comes in the end credit.

over all I found it an average movie.

Nowadays most films are made to give important message of life so that everyone can connect with it. This film touches one's heart by giving great example of true friendship between two childhood friends.

Both friends found themselves in different situation after childhood days of friendship as one became rich while other remained poor but their bond was intact in their heart. The poor friend has started believing that his friend might have forgotten him after such a long time and also after getting fame and money but in reality that was not the case instead he is still reminding his childhood friend and always wanted to meet him. The character of rich friend shows real down to earth personality of a person and great example of true friendship that never fades irrespective of money and fame at the same time the character of poor friend and his wife also shows that being poor never restrict you from being the good person.

Over all this is very good film and must watch for its heart warming subject of friendship.

my views on Manglore pub incedent

It is not our duty not to allow them to go in the river but it is our duty to teach them how to swim in the river.

Recently there was an incident at Manglore, Karnataka where women were attacked by some group of people while they were attending pub. Those who are responsible for this attack are said of one Hindu association named "Ram Sena".

I think it is very shameful incident. How can it be justifiable to attack on women by just saying that pub culture is against our culture. But why to attack only on women? Is it OK for men then? Actually problem is that fundamentalist are against of women going in pubs. I think it is totally ridiculous and utter nonsense act and can not be granted. Fundamentalist arguing by saying that pub culture is against our Indian culture. But in reality pubs, except Gujarat, are part of modern urban India from many years and the liquor has been in use from ancient Indian time.

Men and women are equal and Indian constitution has given them equal rights and so any act must be without gender bias. If men can go to pub then women do as well. Even if we think that pub culture is not good and it is against of Indian culture than this is different issue. Actually we should instill moral values in youth by good education and by becoming an example than let them decide what is good and what is bad. It is not our duty not to allow them to go in the river but it is our duty to teach them how to swim in the river. I see an Indian culture and western culture as two different miscible liquid in a vessel so that way it is impossible to stop them mixing with each other.

showcasing of the true love - the base of the true love is the good qualities of a person and equal interaction of its kind ****1/2

It was a great experience while watching the film. The film can fall in three main categories such as romance, action and thriller as it is a thriller that has some great action sequences followed by endearing love story. The love story is very unique and I can't recall that any film in the past have presented with such an excellent love story. This is exemplifying of great love and makes the viewer to be fall in love for the characters. It is very hard to find such kind of people in today's materialistic and professional world as shown in the film. Both the characters have all good qualities such as honesty, simplicity, innocence, sacrifice and above all true feeling for each other and all these are without even a single cuddle or say shown as that. The action sequences followed by this kind of love story makes it justifiable, which was also shoot nicely to give right impact to the film. Here the revenge is justified after this way sudden departure of this kind of lovable person as it is always a great loss and makes anybody’s life with full of grief. This whole episode is presented very nicely with some great action sequences with very good screenplay.

Overall it is an excellent film.
